木曽福島駅から30分ほどバスに乗り、新地蔵トンネルを抜けるとそこが開田高原です。

窓の外に広がる牧歌的な景色をぼーっと眺めていると、草原の中にハート型の桜の木を見つけました！
あふれる好奇心を抑えることができず、人差し指が停車ボタンをピンポンと鳴らします。

お陰で予定には遅れてしまいましたが・・・、この桜の木との出会いは一日をしあわせな気持ちで過ごさせてくれました♪

バスの旅は思いがけない景色と出会えます。

Hello, this is Kibi.
It’s one of nature’s wonders: spotting interestingly shaped things which nature creates in fields or forests.

When I took a bus from Kisofukushima Station to Kaidakogen Plateau, I spotted a heart shaped cherry blossom tree through the window!
I was overflowing with curiosity so I got off the bus and walked to meet the tree.

The pink heart tree looked so lovely against the wide, bucolic countryside. I was behind schedule but it definitely made my day!
Sometimes a bus trip brings you into peaceful rural sights in the Kiso area.

By the way, the Kiso area is planning to change the bus schedules in October 2025 so please check the recent updates.
