こんにちは、キビです。
木曽川と並んで走る国道19号は、木曽地域を南北につなぐ定番のドライブルートです。道中には阿寺渓谷や寝覚の床などの景勝地だけでなく、道の駅もたくさんあります。



国道19号のだいたい真ん中あたりに位置し、木曽町の三岳地区、開田高原、王滝村へ足を伸ばす際にも一息つけるのが「道の駅木曽福島（木曽市場）」です。



食事処の隣にある展望テラスでは、山の合間からひょっこり顔を出す、標高3,067mの御嶽山が見られます！



この日は、「季刊誌 木曽路 2025冬号」に載っていた「信州サーモン漬け丼」を食べてみたくて木曽市場までやって来ました。
海のない長野県で育てられた魚（信州サーモン）に興味しんしんです！



初めて信州サーモンを食べましたが、しっとりした程よい脂とやわらかな身の漬けが白いご飯を包み込んでくれて、ぺろりと食べてしまいました。美味しかったです♪



料理を待つあいだ窓から外の景色を眺めていると、見下ろした先に紅梅の花がほころびはじめていて、春の訪れを感じました。



食後の散歩がてら梅林の花を愛でたあと、せっかくなので木曽市場の特産品販売所へ戻り、その梅の実から作られた梅シロップを購入して帰路につきました。



特産品販売所ではすんきクラフトビールも販売されていたので、暑い季節になったら試してみたいと思います。



家に帰ってさっそく、梅シロップをグラスに注ぎシンプルに炭酸水で割ってみました。
爽やかな梅の香りが炭酸のシュワシュワと相まって、春の午後にピッタリな梅ソーダになりました！

“Let’s drop by Kiso-ichiba Roadside Station on Route 19!”

Hello, this is Kibi.
Route 19 follows the Kiso-gawa River and stretches from north to south in the Kiso region, from Niekawa-juku and Narai-juku to Magome-juku.

There are several roadside stations along the route, but only at Kiso-ichiba Roadside Station can you enjoy a view of Mt. Ontake from Route 19!
You can take a break and enjoy shopping for souvenirs at these roadside stations before you go a little farther to Mitake and Kaidakogen districts of Kiso-machi Town and Otaki-mura Village.



On that day, I had a Shinshu Salmon rice bowl for lunch. Shinshu Salmon is a newly developed variety created by crossing rainbow trout and brown trout and they are raised in the pristine waters of Nagano Prefecture.

After a satisfying lunch, I took a stroll along the nearby plum-lined street to aid digestion. I also bought Ume (plum) syrup at the shop.
When I mixed the syrup with sparkling water, the scent of plums wafted up from the glass. The refreshing flavor was well suited for that spring afternoon!
