平成３１年１月２３日から１泊２日の日程でパプアニューギニアとソロモン諸島の大学生が上伊那地域の家庭にホームスティをしました。
January 23,24.2019 Two students from Papua New Guinea and Solomon islands visited to my home for homestay .

このブログは彼らにもわかるように英語で翻訳します。
This blog translates in English for them.

南太平洋諸国の彼らは「雪」を見るのが初めて

我が家に来た二人の青年も「雪」を見て感動していました。早速、駒ヶ根高原スキー場でそり滑りを楽しみました。
They are from South Pacific countries.So it’s are first experience to see snow.
We enjoyed sleighing playing at Komagane Kogen ski resort at once.

Rodney Nakuan（ロドニー・ナクアン）はスピードに乗って

Rodney slides on speed.

John Michael（ジョン・マイケル）はスマホで自撮りをしながら余裕の滑りです
Michael slides while taking self-taking at a smartphone.

離れて暮らす子供たちに代わり、わが子が増えたようにうれしかったです。
I was very pleased that they had come and my children increased

【対面式】

外務省の対日理解促進プログラムの一環で、駒ヶ根市に本部を置く青年海外協力協会（ＪＯＣＡ）が企画し、今年はパプアニューギニアとソロモン諸島の青年２４名が１月１９日から約１週間の予定で来日。２１日は長野県入りし、善光寺などを見学してから翌日、駒ヶ根市を訪れました。

２３日は初めて日本の家庭にホームスティします。彼らはワクワク、ドキドキです

１泊２日の日程で受け入れ先の家庭で過ごします

Twenty-four youths from PNG and Solomon Islanods came to Japan this January 19 with a schedule of one week.
They came to Komagane city after visiting Nagano prefecture from 22^nd to visit Zenkoji etc.
They spend the night at their homestay.

【ホームスティでエンジョイ！！！】

冒頭のソリ遊びをした後、夕食の買い物をして家に戻り、お互いのお国のことを話しました。ロドニーとマイケルは優しく純粋な青年です。

After having played sledding,we went shopping for dinner and returned home.
We talked a lot about home countries each other. Rodney and Michael are kind and pure youth.

日本の武道について「空手」って知っている？と聞くと
I asked them what they knew about Japanese Martial Arts Karate.

もちろん！「ｏｆ　ｃｏｕｒｓｅ」

体験してみる？

“Will you try?”
「Ｏ．Ｋ！！！！！！」

「空手道」の体験教室です＼(^o^)／
Karate-do experience class begins.

所属している空手部指導員の先生と私が空手の一連の動きを教えます。
Instructors taught them the movement of Karate.

頑張って空手の練習をしたので、黒帯を絞めてもらいました(*^-^*)
They practiced hard. So they had the black belt of the leader tightened.

「彼らが受け入れ家庭でどんな様子で過ごしているのか？」ＪＯＣＡのみなさんが訪れて来ました。
The organizers come to my home to see what they are doing.

夕食は手巻きずしです。
Dinner is hand-rolled sushi.

おいしいね(#^.^#)
「Ｉｔ’ｓ　ｄｅｌｉｃｉｏｕｓ！」

練習をしてないのに箸を上手に使いこなしていました。
They used chopsticks well and ate.

食後は百人一首の読み札で「坊主めくり」です
After dinner, we played a cardgame ” Hyakuninisyu”.

坊主のカードは「Ｂａｄｃａｒｄ」

おじさんのカードは「Ｇｏｏｄｃａｒｄ」

姫様のカードは「Ｌｕｃｋｙｃａｒｄ」と言って繰り返し楽しみました。
This game was fun and played over and over again.

【お別れ会】

[Farewell party]

ホストファミリーと過ごした時間は深く心に刻まれました(*^-^*)
We announced impressions for each family who had a homestay.

日常生活のガーデニング、鳥のさえずり、魚釣りなどを現した彼らの国のダンスを披露していただきました。
They showed us a country dance expressing fishing etc of daily life gardening birds chirping.

最後に笑顔でお別れです(*”▽”)
At last it is a goodbye with a smile.

２４日はかんてんぱぱガーデンや駒ケ根シルクミュージアムを見学して東京に向かいました。
January 24 They visited Kantenpapa Garden and Komagane Silk Museum before going to Tokyo.

かんてんぱぱガーデンは社員が自ら進んで広大な敷地を毎朝掃除します。

来訪者が気持ちよく過ごせる環境作りをしています。
Employees at Kantenpapa Garden will clean their vast premises every morning.
It is making an environment where visitors can feel comfortably.

観光の勉強が目的の彼らは、日本人の心を見学を通して感じたことでしょう。
They would have felt the heart of Japanese people with the purpose of studying sightseeing.
